Place Curbside Request Instructions

We are pleased to offer curbside pickup! 

To place an order for curbside pickup, please place an hold request on TRAC HERE using your barcode (on your Library card) and pin # (last 4 digits of your phone number). We will contact you when your holds are ready to set a pickup time.  As we are running with limited staff, please allow up to 1 week for pick-up times.  

Patrons can borrow up to ten library items at a time per card. Patrons will be given a wellness check when we call to arrange a pick up time to ensure the health and safety of everyone. 

CURBSIDE PICKUP PROCESS AND INSTRUCTIONS: Please view our instructions on picking up items through curbside pickup HERE prior to requesting items.  

Loan periods will be set to six weeks upon check-out but may be extended until the Library re-opens to the public, if necessary.

To search for items that are currently available to borrow at Chestermere Public Library:

  • select "More Search Options"
  • click on "Chestermere Public Library" from the list of libraries that appears in the pop-up window
  • click on "Set Search Options" in the same pop-up window; you will then be redirected back to the keyword search page where you can continue to search for an item at Chestermere Public Library
  • once you have located an item in the catalogue, click on the "Where Is It?" tab which is displayed on the right hand side of the item; a pop-up window will appear showing the status of the item; if the item is listed as being "In," it is available to borrow

Please note that we will respond to all pick-up requests in the order that they are received. An item that appears as being "In" in the catalogue may not be available if another patron earlier in the queue has already requested it.
